Oman has exempted nationalities of 103 countries from requiring an entry visa for a stay of as long as 10 days, Royal Oman police said on Wednesday, in a transition to help the travel industry and shore up its striving economy. Guests should have an affirmed hotel reservation, health insurance and a return ticket, Royal Oman Police said on its Twitter account. "Nationals of 103 countries are excluded from entry visas into the Sultanate of Oman for a time of ten days," it said.

Oman a week ago said it would continue allowing tourist visas to individuals visiting on excursions organized by lodgings and travel organizations, after they were suspended due to the Covid pandemic.

The Gulf state resumed worldwide flights on Oct. 1, yet just residents and individuals holding valid existing residency and work visas could enter the country.

Oman, evaluated sub-venture grade by all significant FICO assessment offices, faces an extending shortage and enormous obligation developments in coming not many years. It has as of late set out on another monetary arrangement to wean itself off its reliance on oil incomes.
